Quirky and fun. Maybe it was cause I wasn't expecting much, but I actually thought it was good. I wasn't actually mad at the effects, as I thought that added something to the story. It really is the movie you curl up in a bundle, and watch it in the cold.
And not necessarily only on Halloween time. It's great, and really not scary yet scary. A very cool movie, I'm definetly watching a few more times.
