Review of The French Connection (1971) by Bob W — 15 Feb 2009
How boring. I didnt get into this at all. I like Gene Hackman, and I could identify a good performance by him. I liked the milkshake scene, but that was all. I have no idea how this won Oscars. I may have to watch it again some day to try to understand this critical acclaim, but I seriously doubt I ever will bring myself to that.
