Review of The French Connection (1971) by Curtis R — 28 May 2009
One of the greatest crime dramas ever made. Hackman and Scheider are at the top of their game playing the very real detectives who became New York legends. The 70's reintroduced the pork pie hat but it looks cooler on Popeye than it did Rocky.
One of the greatest chase scenes ever between a car and a train. Highly recommended.
