New York drug cops, get word of big heroin shipment, follow French men, car chase, shoot-outs, etc.
Grittier than the bottom of a bird cage early Seventies thriller which still has one of the best car chases on film. Plenty of action & the whole thing feels very real.
Gene Hackman & Roy Scheider work well &, although quite dated, have decent dialogue throughout.
