Review of The French Connection (1971) by Nate B — 06 Apr 2013
It may have had relevance as a new style in 1971, but this film has little appeal today. TFC has been outdone by better directors since its release while the genre has been copied more times than logically possible for decades.
Gene Hackman is not the same go-to actor he would eventually become.
