Review of The French Connection (1971) by Forrest M — 31 May 2014
The French Connection is not a good movie. While the acting of Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider is great, it can't help save a racist and ridiculous story that ends abruptly and strangely. It felt like I was watching a cartoon show about what people think cops were like in the 1960's.
