Review of The Fox and the Hound (1981) by Dan H — 26 Jul 2015
Most of the songs aren't that memorable (except for Best of Friends), the voice cast is pretty good (Mickey Rooney, Kurt Russell, Jack Albertson aka Grandpa Joe from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, John Fiedler aka Piglet, Paul Winchler aka Tigger,, Pat Buttram and Corey Feldman), as is the animation and the characters, but I think the best thing about this film is it's touching and heartfelt story.
Fox and The Hound is one of the saddest Disney films to date, it's also easily one of the best.
