Review of The Fox and the Hound (1981) by Michael V — 02 Aug 2011

Unfortunately, The Fox and the Hound didn't stand the test of time for me. I remember this being the first film that I was touched by when I was about 6 years old. So, not having seen it since then, I thought it would be a good trip down memory lane. But I immediately found the 70's animation dull and uninteresting. The cuteness of the Fox and Hound only take you so far. The film, simply put, is dated. Therefore, not fun to watch. It was fun to remember old things I haven't thought of in a long time that this movie brought to mind. but the movie just do for me what it used to.

Rent it, for nostalgia's sake.
