Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Manuel A — 16 Apr 2011
No, this film is not a horror masterpiece like Scream or A Nightmare on Elm Street. But it had that little bit of substance in story that made it slightly thought provoking in the head. It's not the kind of film that can be watched again and again and again whatsoever.
If anything, it's the kind of film you rent from a store or borrow off a friend, watch once and then never see again for most. In my own opinion, I did like this film and thought it was neither totally rotten nor totally fresh.
Some bits of this film were a bit like: "No, that did not really happen, I'm not stupid". It was those moments that have given this film a bad reputation. But there were other moments that made up for these failures and were a bit like: "That's actually pretty fucking awesome".
Overall, this film is a once-over watch for most people but I personally enjoyed it.
