Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Ryan V — 08 Jan 2013
Unsurprisingly, there was a rush of "found footage" horror movies in the wake of The Blair Witch Project. The Fourth Kind concerns itself with some alien abductions that occur in a small Alaskan community.
The graceless narrative blends "real video" with "reenactments" featuring Milla Jovovich as a psychotherapist. Overall, I found this movie to be trite, predictable, lazy, boring, unconvincing, cheap, and ceaselessly lame.
Even die-hard horror movie junkies will have a hard time being thrilled by this turkey.
