If they would have just made a movie about alien abductions, this could have been really good. However, when you try to pass off the "documentary footage" as real, you insult the audience and it makes for a bad movie experience.
The "documentary footage" was terribly acted and laughable. Also on the deleted scenes of the DVD, you can see an extended "documentary footage" scene and at the very beginning you hear ".
..aaaaaand ACTION!". So if anyone wasn't sure if the footage was real or not, it's confirmed to be false by the DVD itself. Don't waste your time on this poorly executed movie.
