Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Grv E — 30 Jul 2014
This is a well-crafted horror film which is excellent in terms of jump scares and in terms of creating an extremely disturbing atmosphere. With a supposed blend of reality and fiction, it draws you in, makes you believe and then scares the shit out of you - mostly because many people could see this as being very, very real.
It asks questions about our origins and about the state of our own mind which can be seen to be important for the universe, not just in terms of a horror film. It's a horror film which does two things - scares you and makes you think.
