Review of The Fourth Kind (2009) by Ian P — 10 Sep 2014
The movie is goes as a documentary sci-fi and drama film that tries to reenact an alleged true-to-life series of events that happened in Nome, Alaska way back in 2000 about alien encounters and further investigation by Dr.
Abigail Tyler. As the movie progresses it follows the affected lives of Dr.Tyler and her patients with in-sets of alleged real footage video of events that happened to convince the audience on the purportedly basis of actual events.
I find the dramatization scenes fine and decent with Milla Jovovich for me delivered a good act and drama in the film. While the supposed actual footage were convincing too with its scary moments but some are quite overacting and shallow.
When you look at the story of the film, it has a potential for more in-dept plot and exploration of executing it but seeing it entirely, the film made it shallow and simple yet, it is still entertaining and bearable to watch.
