Review of The Fountain (2006) by Brandon B — 15 Jul 2012
This movie is so compact that you can really only see one aspect of its meaning per viewing. Putting aside the fact that this film is visually stunning and unique in method and composition, the real enjoyment is found in trying to figure out what the story is really about.
I'm a sucker for an ideologically ambitious script, and in this respect I don't think anyone can say that it isn't that.
