Hugh Jackman fights to save the woman he loves from a cancerous death; the story framed and interwoven with a search for eternal life. An epic, sad, moving romance that is wrapped in complete metaphysical nonsense.
Go with the flow and this film is rewarding, otherwise you might hate it. Great score by Clint Mansell.
