Review of The Fountain (2006) by James M — 27 Feb 2014
In a story that spans a few various eras where an explorer is seeking a the tree of life, in another he is a scientist and his wife passes away from cancer, and in the last he is a universe travelling astronaut.
The film has a pretty consistent visual style where it has a bit of orange/gold hue filter to everything. It gives it a pretty distinct style compared to the overused teal and orange of today. It's a very interesting story and touching how everything comes together by the end.
