Review of The Founder (2016) by Kerr L — 29 Jan 2017
The Founder rests solely on the main performances of Michael Keaton, Nick Offerman, and John Carroll Lynch. Keaton plays Ray Kroc, a down on his luck milkshake machine salesman who hears about a big order in San Bernadino California, and discovers two brothers who have an incredible and revolutionary food concept.
Orders in less than sixty seconds, just burgers, fries, and sodas/milkshakes. Ray eagerly signs up to help them franchise, but his ruthless and ambitious nature spins out of control in this absorbing drama.
Its never boring, and easily one of the more underrated films of the year.
