Review of The Founder (2016) by Travis G — 02 Apr 2017
The founder is an interesting look into the making of the largest most successful fast food chain in the entire world. Michael Keaton takes on the role of Ray Kroc, the ambitious, achievement obsessed man who comes across a restaurant called McDonalds Burgers owned by Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman) and Mac McDonald (John Carroll Lynch). Realizing the restaurants potential, Kroc partners up and quickly franchises the restaurant into a sensation. The founder explores the start of the fast food era and tells the story of the man who through hard work and unethical tactics takes the business of two men and turned into a global phenomenon.
The acting in the movie was genuine and believable, the directing was classy and tasteful, and the film itself is sure to connect with audiences due to the its tasty story line.
