Besides the fact this is not really a comedy but a romance between good and bad, Walter Mathau breaks for the first time on the screen with his all time friend Jack Lemon and left on the hands of Billy Wilder.

Those who don't understand this is a masterpiece is cause the critics did not place this one as one of the most famous top lists one but anyways everything is well explained here and goes easy with commun sense and the help of a tale told step by step.
