The Blair Witch was scarier than The Forest. The plot was dumb and didn't make sense. She doesn't trust the guy that stays in the forest with her but there's not any foreshadowing on why she shouldn't trust him.
The way she dies doesn't make sense as she wasn't bleeding out that much and she slit her wrist the wrong way. It was awful and not scary at all.
