Review of The Foreigner (2017) by Devin H — 12 Oct 2017
Just got through watching this movie and I think it's one of the best I've seen this year! some of the reviews I read complained that there wasn't enough action fighting because of all the stuff with Pierce Brosnan, but I really thought that part of the film was quite intriguing and the cat and mouse game that he was playing trying to walk the line of legitimacy and his connections to his former Ira peeps.
...awesome! it was fun to hear his natural Irish accent and play somebody with less than pure intentions. I can't go on enough about Jackie Chan! he did an awesome job conveying his grief over the loss of his daughter and his rage and focus on finding and making those responsible pay.
.. the fight scenes were very realistic and gritty a la Jason Bourne. I highly recommend this film to fans of both Jackie Chan and political thrillers....Action, intrigue, and just smart entertainment! I went in expecting to enjoy it as a serious action film and got so much more!
