I'm a fan of Asian or Asian-themed movies, so that boosted my liking for this movie. First of all and most obviously, what action movie fan wouldn't wanna see Jackie and Jet do a movie together?! I'm also a fan of Chinese mythology and history, so that went well with this movie.
The martial arts were fantastic and very well executed, and the cast was outstanding. Liu Yifei was one person I didn't expect to see in this! She's from a Chinese drama called "Chinese Paladin", and I loved that show, and she's a skilled actress, so she was perfect for this movie.
