Jackie Chan and Jet Li could not save this ridiculous pants movie. For all there talent, it couldn't make up the time wasted watching this. The effects, acting, and pathetic storyline are just the beginning.

The action sequences were flat and theres a thin line when it comes to adventure. I can't possibly think what anyone could take from watching this. Although its style, the over the top characterisation and slow mos/freeze frames just ruined this movie.

It felt fake and was at time laughable. The idea has been done before, it has no originality and it has a 'monkey king'. Any film with a so called 'monkey king' should be avoided, as should the extreme use of its facial hair.
