Review of The Foot Fist Way (2006) by Allen B — 24 Feb 2009
Funny, though the main character is obviously inspired by Steve Carrel's character in The Office. Not that that's a bad thing.
It's wacky and ridiculous, and, while often compared to Napoleon Dynamite, is a much, much better film overall. It's also very well shot for a comedy, and has many moments of genuine drama/angst the likes of which you don't see in many other such films.
And the main actor, Danny McBride, is great. A brilliant comic actor, one to watch, surely. Overall, great film, funny. Watch it!
