Review of The Foot Fist Way (2006) by Jarrad B — 21 Apr 2011
Pretty solid and funny. Jody Hill and Danny McBride capture the awkward, painful moments in such a clever way. I loved Julio. That kid coming on screen with a smile on his face made me laugh every time.
And Fred talking about that poor kid's low self confidence always created a pathetic moment to laugh at. Rick needs to chill on beating the crap out of everyone through simple street fighting techniques that have nothing to do with Tae Kwon Do.
The characters in the film all think that they're lives are so important, but it's funny to sit back and laugh at how seriously they take everything. Just a fun movie all around. Great start for Ben Best, Jody Hill, and Danny McBride.
