Review of The Fog of War (2003) by Simon D — 29 Sep 2011
A good lesson on why we should never trust technocrats like Robert McNamara and his ilk to make decisions for the rest of us. It almost resulted in the end of humanity. Nothing personal Bobby, it's just the ideology you adhere to reduces human beings to statistics and thus makes them expendable.
This film begs for the realization of authentic democracy and shows us how far we are from it. Chomsky's "Hegemony or Survival" should be required complementary reading.
