Review of The Fog of War (2003) by Shawn H — 27 Oct 2011
A great documentary that definitely gives us a great retrospect on the mind of former Sec. of Def. Robert McNamara. The film definitely gives us some key insight on many what if situations that could have occurred during the conflicts that arose during his service. Some you may realize that you will agree with, while others you will still find yourself sitting on opposite ends of opinion. Don't forget to watch the additional scenes in the Special Features section, since there are some definite moments in there that will make you go what if?
Great documentary, filled with insight, but let's not forget how much awesome this film is because of the score by Philip Glass. His score is so great, that I can't imagine how this film would be without it, some of us would have probably fallen asleep I'm sure. If you're a fan of documentaries, especially those involving this countries politics on foreign policy, check this one out. It's something definitely looking into.
