Review of The Flowers of War (2011) by Fiona F — 25 Jan 2012
A simple plot of the notorious 1937 Nanjing massacre but its was well directed and executed by Zhang Yimou, lots of colours (artistic visual effects even when the scenes involved explosion), story-telling, etc.
Nonetheless, I am disturbed afterwards by the cruelty that was done to Nanjing, do not recommend Nanjing ppl to watch.
