Very sad and emotional story based on historical events. Hard to watch at some points but the overall movie is worth it. The sexual violence of the women was pretty disturbing so be prepared for that. Of course Christian Bale was great, no surprise there.
The first half hour is amusing, thanks to C Bale, but takes a dark turn. Check this out when you have a few hours and are in the mood for something more serious and intense. Deserved more attention than it got.
