Nothing about that point in time was pretty. It was hard and it was nasty, and I think the movie did a really good job with the depiction of the ugliness of the times. However, it also did a good job showing how complete strangers can still make a difference in each others lives, for good or ill.
I thought it was wonderfully done. Although it was a little hard to watch, so I MAY not watch it again, it was definitely worth watching at least once.
