Review of The Florida Project (2017) by Gerard T — 29 Jan 2018
While interesting for a short while as a view into a life and lifestyle unfamiliar to middle class audiences, this movie was ultimately no fun to watch. It was repetitive, with endless scenes of unsupervised play by children in a low rent strip mall area interspersed with scenes depicting the escalating irresponsibility of a brainless and completely immoral, foul-mouthed mother.
The movie is weak on plot. Despite some good acting performances, this movie was torture to watch.
