Review of The Florida Project (2017) by Jon T — 10 Sep 2018

Hmmm...this film seems to provoke extreme reactions. For some it's a gritty portrayal of a side of the US all too rarely portrayed with stand out performances and genuine pathos. For others it lacks plot and it's hard to watch.

I really did not enjoy this for at least the first half and it only really got going for me as some sort of plot develops. I would have given it half a star more were it not for the truly terrible ending.
