Review of The Florida Project (2017) by M.e. K — 31 Oct 2017
Too much laid bare and therefore a difficult film to bear. This is how a part of our population lives. It a dilemna--better off with their own, loving but helpless parents, or with strangers, foster parents who may or may not be loving.
The children in the film, all seem to be having a wonderful time of freedom, laughter and mutual love. Department of Social Services is concerned about the conditions in which the children live and the failures of the parents.
