Review of The Flock (2007) by Tristan P — 18 Jun 2008
Grim and twisted thriller with intense performances from Richard Gere and Claire Danes. Comparisons to SEVEN are inevitable but rather superficial; to me this is much better anyway because it's not just a case of the director showing off for two hours.
I could have used a bit more French Stewart; he's such a weird actor and putting him in this film for all of 30 seconds seems a bit of a tease. Avril Lavigne is also in this for maybe a minute; I love her voice but she really can't act at all.
Well made and intriguing; I recommend this.
