In this case, mixing a very talented director with a talented cast and interesting story turns into one of the most painful movie experiences in a long time. Mercede Ruehl is the only person even semi-tolerable in this mess.
Oh and if you really think Robin Williams is funny in these kind of roles or even in this movie, PLEASE tell me so I can proceed to ignoring you.
