A great movie that has so many things going right for it. Start with a great cast. Jeff Bridges, Robin Williams, Mercedes Ruehl, and Amanda Plummer all work perfectly and play their parts to the T. The story is odd, quirky, and just right.
From a very powerful intro into a story about a man just wanting to make things right, it worked the whole way through. Woven within all this are some very heavy thoughts on life. What are we working for? What's normal? Why does love make us crazy? Are men made in the image or God or are just women? This was a fantastic voyage I was glad to experience.
