The Final Destination is probably the worst installment in the Final Destination series and it is also the weakest and the most embarrassing installment in the Final Destination series. Seriously I really hated this film and I seriously didn't enjoy this as much as I only enjoyed the first three Final Destination films.

The plot of this film is the same thing as always this movie is about Nick O Bannion a student who has a premonition that the race car is gonna crash and kill everyone watching the race and after he saved his girlfriend, friends and a couple of people Nick must save the rest in order to cheat death once and for all.

To be honest I didn't like this movie and the whole film didn't make any sense and the whole movie is bland and unoriginal. I don't know what happened to David Ellis either he's trying to make this movie as over the top as his work on Final Destination 2 or he's already losing his touch in making good Horror films I mean he seriously nailed Final Destination 2 but here he seriously lost it.

Shame also on writer Eric Bress he should be embarrassed for making this movie with his partner David Ellis I just can't believe they lost their talent for making this junk I mean I love the concept of this movie as much as I enjoyed the concept of its predecessors but the execution is bland and unoriginal and really bad at the exact same time.

Anyways lets go for the good part. What's great about The Final Destination is that the whole film has a really incredible soundtrack from Brian Tyler and I totally enjoyed the soundtrack of this movie as much as I enjoyed the soundtrack of the first three Final Destination films from Shirley Walker its just too bad that Shirley Walker passed away after Final Destination 3 but at least Brian Tyler did a wonderful job with his work on this movie and I totally enjoyed listening to the songs in this movie and I love the soundtrack of Brian Tyler as much as I enjoyed Shirley Walker's soundtrack and overall I like the soundtrack of this movie as much as I enjoyed the soundtrack of the first three Final Destination films.

What I also like about this movie is that the film has an incredible X Ray opening and ending scene. The X ray montage of deaths from the first three Final Destination films is just incredible and totally wonderful I only wish this movie could have been better if it wasn't for the horrid effects and bad execution in the film.

And the ending where Nick, Janet and Lori gets killed by a truck in an X Ray way is one of the best endings in movie history but I seriously wish that this movie could have been so much better if it wasn't for the bad execution of the film but overall I love those two scenes in the film.

Now the movie has a lot of flaws and there's dozens of it. One of the biggest downsides of this movie is that the whole movie isn't suspenceful and there's nothing scary or tense with this movie and the deaths are totally not tense or scary at all.

Some of them are too quick and some are fake and uninteresting and their also overhyped in certain times and worse their also mixed with bad CGI effects that made it look like a made for TV SyFy film.

All of the deaths in this movie are just bland and horrid and some are laughable. Carter Daniel's death in this movie is probably the most laughable death scene in the film because the song playing while he's about to die which is Why Can't we be Friends by War is the most laughable scene in the whole movie and it didn't even freak me out it just made me laugh and I couldn't stop laughing at that scene because of the song and that scene was just making me laugh rather than freaking out.

Nadia's death was good in the premonition but her death after the premonition just became lame and totally unsuspenceful at the same time. Andy's death was totally fake and its worse because that scene was using a huge amount of horrid CGI and it was totally dull and uninteresting.

The hospital death scene was just pure fake and unsuspenceful at the same time and some death scenes from the premonition scene were totally bland and unoriginal at the exact same time and mixed with bad CGI effects which I hated in the movie.

While the escalator death scene was totally over hyped although I did enjoy the over the top gore on that scene but it's not a good death scene in the film. Although there are some kills that I did enjoy in this film.

The salon sequence where Samantha gets hit with a flying rock in the salon is one of the most suspenceful scenes in this film. The swimming pool death scene is probably the goriest death scene in the whole film and George's death is super similar to Terry Chaney's death in the first Final Destination which I totally enjoyed watching.

My other problem with this movie is the characters in the movie. All of the characters are shallow and paper thin in this film except for the two protagonists who are well developed but the rest are super shallow and paper thin and I wish they add more character development in this movie it would at least raise the bar a little bit on this movie if it wasn't for that problem.

Now the acting is great all the casts did a really good job with their work in the film so far and I was overall amazed as always with their performances in the film so far. Director David Ellis totally went down the hill after he made two successful Horror films(Snakes On A Plane and Final Destination 2) I can't believe his next two films which is this film and Shark Night(which was worse than this movie)totally ruined his directing career and I felt bad that these were his last two films before his death on January 2013 and he could have at least made one more Horror film that can impress the audience before he died and I seriously felt bad for David Ellis so far he could have at least made one more movie to impress Horror fans for one reason.

Overall this movie gets a 4/10 because the whole movie may have a good concept but the execution is really bad for one reason. Final Destination 5 is a masterpiece compared to this film which I highly recommend for those who hate this movie.
