Review of The Final Countdown (1980) by Jason Y — 14 Aug 2007
Aside from the cheesy special effects of the "time warp", this movie puts forth a very interesting and paradoxical situation. The flying footage in the film is top notch, with the F-14's buzzing the Zero's, and an added bonus of an actual emergency trap on the Carrier's deck.
Something you'll never get to see except on here. Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen give a great performance. If your an aviation buff, your sure to like this movie.
