Review of The Final Conflict (1981) by Debbie B — 24 Oct 2004
The weekend just seemed to drag for me? I can't explain it...my family came up we visited but for me it was such a burden...besides because of their visit I missed most of the South Park top 27 episodes so I was a little bitter.
So on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I enjoyed unadulterated quality time with the tv since my roommate took off to California! :D.
I was able to watch all my favorite tv shows and movies...so here I go:
Child's Play.
I can't seem to remember the last time I saw this movie? So it was nice to watch it again-in light of the new Chucky installment. I couldn't help but be distracted by Chris Sarandon and Brad Douriff! All through the movie I was expecting one to go all vampire and the other to suddenly recite some passages form Tolkien. But it was nice to see Chucky in good form!
The Omen.
Love this movie! I was always partial to Gregory Peck so this is a favorite of mine. It was cool to watch this kid destroy both his "mom" & "dad" of their sanity. The music was great as was the acting. My only drawback was Lee Remmy (the mom) who seemed to loose complet control over here eyes and went from scene to scene with the same frightened stare!
The Final Conflict: Omen III.
Liked Sam Neil...but would have loved him had he really displayed more power or presence, he is the Anti-Christ! But I didn't enjoy watching this on tv (AMC) because the film seemed choppy, such as the sex scene and some of the "violent" scenes. But I still enjoyed myself!
South Park Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
Loved it! There is nothing elses to say...except that Mrs. Broflovski is such a huge B*TCH! :p.
