Review of The Final Conflict (1981) by Paul J — 01 Apr 2012
More consistent and polished than the dreadful second chapter. The Goldsmith score is epic and wonderful but the horrific elements grow tiresome after a while. Apart from one good head explosion, the film lacks any real punch.
Granted, the story is quite bold and nasty but sadly the film doesn't quite reach its grand ambition.
