Review of The Final Conflict (1981) by Hassaan M — 16 Aug 2013
A necessary conclusion to the franchise. While we may have done without Omen II but Omen III was absolutely critical. Once again a great, well-directed film which has some blasphemous content that may not sit too well with conservatives but it was necessary to give the main character the feel of an anti-Christ, the emphasis being on anti.
The last half an hour of the film is absolutely thrilling and Goldsmith's haunting score once again lifts up the movie very well. Recommended.
