Julian Temple's "answer film" to SID AND NANCY.
THE FILTH AND THE FURY appears to tell everything about the PUNK Movement, Julian Temple wanted SID AND NANCY to show as per his comments on THE SID AND NANCY CRITERION LASERDISC.
Julian Temple is a most dedicated "documentarian--"the film doubles as an anthropological study of Social Unrest in 1976-1978 England. All of the living and/or dead principal figures of the Punk Movement are captured through contemporaneous or archival interview footage. And there's a DVD-commentary track where Julian Temple tells even MORE info concerning the Punk Movement in the UK.
A must see!!!!!
