Review of The Filth and the Fury (2000) by Sarah G — 02 Apr 2010
This is a solid and stylish documentary about the backgrounds of the Sex Pistols members, where they grew up, how they met and the formation of the band. There are some funny interviews with families and friends and plenty of archival footage.
The documentary takes an intelligent perspective on the punk scene in retrospect and is fairly objective and revealing. Of interest to any Sex Pistols fans.
