Review of The Filth and the Fury (2000) by Matt W — 15 Aug 2016
By the time it came out this movie was long overdue, and finally did away with a lot of the bollocks you hear about the pistols. Pisses all over The Great Rock & Roll Swindle, which was basically Malcoms Mclarens ego on celluloid, how he'd like people to believe it happened.
The filth and the fury is not only an accurate assessment of the band, but also of the state this country was in at the time. BRILLANT.
