Turned out to be as much of a documentary on 1970's Britain and the fashion, music and feeling of the time as it was one about the Sex Pistols. That's how it should be though because, of course, the two things are inextricably linked.

It's fairly enjoyable and informative with plenty of cool clips but it falls into the ever-so-common trap of the genre- it just goes on, and on... It's just not necessary to play the same song every five minutes (even if it's a great one) over more archive footage that someone just wanted to get out there. It may be a documentary but it leaves me milling it to go on like I would with any other film, regardless of genre, that is beginning to bore me. This one is far from boring of course but there's no reason for it to be over the two hour mark.

It's something any Sex Pistols or general punk fan will be into and it should appeal to music-lovers in general. It's very much what the Sex Pistols are though so if you don't like them, you won't like this. Fairly obvious I'd think but just in case anyone thinks this is a documentary that has some fairly bored person talking about the band, it isn't- it's the members themselves through footage and voiceovers and it's fun!
