Impressive! The combination of Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg as the brothers in this story worked perfectly as their rapport was obvious. It was seeing Amy Adams in the part of Charlene that surprised me.

.....so different from her role in "Enchanted". Mickey Ward had a lot more than his opponents in the ring to overcome to achieve success and this film is quite compelling to watch.
