Review of The Fighter (2010) by Joseph M — 19 Nov 2012
A film not only about boxing, but about the family of a professional boxer who keep themselves tied down to their lives in Lowell. The acting is truly phenomenal, making you either loathe someone or feel utter sympathy for them.
It is a true critique on modern society, not only in greater Boston, but across America. It brings forth the questions "at what point does 'trusting' those close to you end?" and "what is the difference between love for who a person is and love for what a person is?".
