Review of The Fighter (2010) by Paul W — 06 May 2013

I can't say this is a bad film. Technically, it's a brilliancy by all involved. The simple problem for me was that I genuinely disliked most of the people portrayed in this film. I would probably not want to spend ten minutes in the same room with any of them.

Spending two hours watching them on screen was wearisome. I find myself wondering what all of these artists saw in this story that was worth telling or these people that they were worth such effort portraying.
