The Fighter is a masterclass force of fury, with the angry story and acting being a perfect mix to make a perfect sports drama. Mark Wahlberg is great in the lead role, but its the supporting cast of Christian Bale, Amy Adams & Melissa Leo that give us powerhouse performances.
David O. Russell is a master director, but his true talent is using his cast to their full potential. I loved this little comeback tale of a man and his family who must see through their issues to do what is right for one another.
The boxing scenes are great, and it just overall lasts in our mind as a great sports film.
