Review of The Fifth Element (1997) by Jack P — 27 Jan 2012
There's at least 2 great movies competing for our attention and the collateral damage results in a film which never lives up to any real promise. On the plus side are the art direction, cinematography and sound editing.
In addition, there are some classic cameos peppered throughout the cast, which helps bring an air of authenticity to an otherwise underdeveloped story.
